Wear Inc is a sister company to Pyrotek Special
Effects Inc. (www.pyrotekfx.com).
President and owner Doug Adams has been creating
spectacular pyrotechnic and special effects for
the entertainment industry for the past 20 years.
Doug was approached by Metallica
who was looking to have a stunt man set on fire
and run across the stage as part of their act.
After extensive research into safety issues and
state-of-the-art protective clothing, Doug successfully
manufactured a fireproof suit. Pyro Wear Inc also
provided protective clothing for Britney Spears
and her dancers on her 2001/02 "Dream Within
A Dream" world tour. Realizing that there
was a demand in the entertainment market for such
clothing Pyro Wear was created. Pyro Wear now
provides a complete line of clothing and incentive
products for both the entertainment and corporate
industries
